The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me

You are walking through the parking lot at the mall...

A CrackHead comes up to you and asks; "Hey, in order to be a real CrackHead...do I need to inhale all the way?"

I believe each of us make up a special place in Gods heart. Because each of us is unique, each of us connects to Jesus in our own way.

As we experience Jesus, we all have certain common ways of describing it, but the words we use are oftentimes too rough and clumsy to do a good job. That is because it is special knowledge between Christ and us....

There once was a nice resort. The resort boasted posh complexes with all the amenities. In order to sell timeshares of its condos, hired a large staff to do the selling. They would serve sumptuous brunches and invite people to tour the property, sit for a sales pitch, and have brunch at the buffet.

The King, immortal, invisible, invincible

….watching over us,

….counting the hairs of our head

….knowing every thought of our hearts

….controlling all of nature

….knowing past…

….knowing present…

….knowing future…

….present in all places at once…

….calling us to come to him…

….laying his life down as the good shepherd…

….gathering us under His wing….

….going after each sheep Himself…

 

 

What was from the beginning, what we have heard,

what we have seen with our eyes,

what we have looked at

and touched with our hands,

concerning the Word of Life— and the life was manifested,

and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life,

which was with the Father and was manifested to us—

what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also,

so that you too may have fellowship with us;

and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and...
